| What is Junior Achievement? |
|
Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas (JACC) is a non-profit organization that connects volunteers with students in grades K—12. Through in-class activities, JA BizTown®, after-school programs, and workplace experiences, students acquire the confidence they need to succeed in their future careers and in life. Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. VOLUNTEERS HELP STUDENTS DREAM BIGGER DREAMS Our goal is to help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. In learning these lessons, and putting them into quantifiable action, our students become intimately familiar with economics and finances. They become better prepared to assume their role in the practical world of work and responsible citizenship. Quick Links: To read our annual report click here. To volunteer with JACC click here.
