Lincoln County Junior Achievement has only been providing business and economic education programs in Lincoln County for the past 5 years. In the 2005-2006 school year we piloted the 3rd grade program reaching 16 classrooms! In the 2006-07 school year, we expanded across the county and we are now reaching over 40 classroom every year and impacting 849 students! Please consider volunteering in the classroom or providing financial support for the continued implementation of programs. The students appreciate having mentors come into the classroom to teach them about how the world operates and how to make choices in life. The skills that they learn are taught by caring JA volunteers who give their time to teach the importance of staying in school and the advantages of free enterprise. 2009-10 LINCOLN COUNTYBOARD OF DIRECTORS Board Chair - Mr. Joe Lampron, Peoples Bank Finance Chair - Prudential Carolinas Realty Junior Achievement Board of Directors Mr. Joe Lampron, Peoples Bank Mr. Doug Core, Prudential Carolinas Realty Ms. Crystal Gettys , Lincoln Economic Development Association Ms. Rhonda Harrill, Rock Springs Elementary Dr. Sherry Hoyle, Lincoln County Schools Ms. Glenda Walker, Lincoln County Schools Ms. Leigh Guth, North Carolina State University Ms. Laura Slack, United Way of Lincoln County
