Lincoln County

Junior Achievement has only been providing business and economic education programs in Lincoln County for the past two years. In the 2005-2006 school year we piloted the 3rd grade program reaching 16 classrooms! In the 2006-07 school year, we expanded across the county and were able to reach 849 students in 41 classrooms! We hope to reach even more in 2007-2008!

Please consider volunteering in the classroom or providing financial support for the continued implementation of programs. The students appreciate having mentors come into the classroom to teach them about how the world operates and how to make choices in life. The skills that they learn are taught by caring JA volunteers who give their time to teach the importance of staying in school and the advantages of free enterprise.
