Junior Achievement of Western North Carolina

Junior Achievement is passionate people inspiring kids to understand the economics of life through free enterprise education.

The Need

Junior Achievement is the only organization reaching public school students, from kindergarten to high school, with classroom instruction programs that result in better comprehension scores and improved critical thinking skills by simulating everyday business experiences. We present economic information to students using role models from the community who offer inspiration, enthusiasm and living proof of where education can take you.

Program Sponsorship Opportunities

JA’s k-12 in school programming is the foundation of the JA experience. Students who participate in JA’s core programs have a greater comprehension of economic and business concepts and strengthen their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. You can provide support for these programs:

  • $600 to sponsor a class
  • $1,800 to sponsor a grade
  • $6,000 to sponsor a school
JA’s unique approach integrates program materials, training, and support. JA is the successful bridge between education and business.
Special Event Sponsorship Opportunities

Junior Achievement of Western North Carolina relies on the friendship of our financial supporters to keep our office open, grow our program to new schools, and ensure the highest quality experience possible for our volunteers and students. Although we do raise a considerable amount of our funds through individual contributions and corporate support, we also invite our supporters to help us raise money through our Special Events. And our special events have it all . . . great fun, tremendous community involvement, networking opportunities, exposure, and much more.
