Click on one of the programs we offer below to learn how to get involved. Elementary school students are not old enough to drive, work, vote, or be the boss. But that doesn't stop them from operating banks, managing restaurants, writing checks, and voting for mayor at JA BizTown! This hands-on program combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to this fully-interactive simulated town facility. (Please note: if you are a parent or guardian volunteering with your child's class and have already signed up to volunteer with the teacher, there is no need to complete the below form.) Junior Achievement's Classroom Volunteers make a difference one class at a time. Individuals volunteer in their local schools teaching fun, interactive lessons about business to kids in kindergarten through 12th grade. Volunteers follow lesson plans developed by JA incorporating their real-life experiences into the curriculum. Click here to fill out the volunteer interest form! Taking middle grades students into the world of business, JA Finance Park is an economics education program that introduces personal financial planning and career exploration for middle grade and high school students taught by classroom teachers. At the culmination of this program, students visit JA Finance Park to put into practice what they’ve learned about economic options and the principles of budgeting and have the opportunity to actually develop and commit to a personal budget.
