Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas, Inc's franchise includes 39 counties in North Carolina and South Carolina. District Operations are comprised of Boards of Directors whose primary tasks are to secure funding and volunteers, and to manage and grow JA programs within their county or region. Individuals serving on District Boards come primarily from the business community.

Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas, Inc. franchised counties include: Alexander, Anson, Buncombe, Brunswick, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Cherokee Reservation Schools, Cleveland, Columbus, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Gaston, Haywood, Henderson, Iredell, Lincoln, Madison, Montgomery, New Hanover, Richmond, Robeson, Rowan, Scotland, Stanly, Stokes, Surry, Transylvania, Troy, Union, Watauga, Wilkes and Yadkin in North Carolina; and York County, Chester and Lancaster in South Carolina. For counties currently without JA programs, we will help organize local committees to initiate and administer JA programs.
